Naomi Summerton - Student Services Naomi is a graduate of Bournemouth University where she completed a degree in Tourism Management. Since graduating she has worked for both small and large tour operators in Bournemouth but has decided to move back to her home town of Plymouth. Naomi enjoys travelling, shopping, eating out and socialising.
Melanie Gardner - IELTS Examiner Trainer Mel is a graduate from Plymouth University. She has taught in Spain and Mexico. She gained her diploma in English Language teaching in 2006 and is an IELTS examiner. She has two lively dogs called Chelsea and Lucy and loves walking, travelling and eating out.

Paul Stevens - Managing Director & owner Paul is a graduate of Cambridge University and worked for several years in the Middle East before starting the Mayflower College in 1989. Paul is a keen rugby fan.
Jill Tyler - General Manager Jill is responsible for all non-academic aspects of the school. Jill is a graduate of the University of Plymouth, completed a Welfare Officers Cert course, a Cert TESOL and recently completed a Diploma in ELT Management (DELTM). She travelled around the world for 6 months (Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, NZ and USA). Her favourite pastimes are reading, eating and cycling (not at the same time).  
Steve Voysey - Director of Studies Steve is a graduate of French, German and Politics and has taught in Austria, Germany and the UK. He enjoys travelling, cooking, swimming, cycling, driving and dog walking.
Lee Higgins - ADOS Lee has been teaching English since 1994 in Hong Kong, France and UK. In his free time Lee enjoys all things aquatic including sailing, canoeing, fishing and mermaids!
Neil Vogler - Student Services & Welfare (Accommodation for Adults) Before working for Mayflower College, Neil was involved in journalism, UK tourism and the wine industry. Outside of work, Neil is a writer and musician.
Emma Blackhurst - Senior Administrator Emma is a graduate from the University of Plymouth and has been teaching for 5 years. In her free time she enjoys long walks in the countryside with her atterdale dog Macca.
Ben Rimron  -  TEA Manager Ben is an English graduate from Manchester with a Masters in Language Testing. He supports Manchester CITY football team. He has taught at Durham University and in Japan but is now enjoying living in the southwest. He’s into travelling, tennis, live music and meeting friendly people.  
Paul Read - ADOS Paul graduated from the University of York with a degree in Biology and has taught English in Slovakia, Russia and the UK.  He enjoys reading, watching other people play sports, listening to live music and the occasional pub quiz.

Magda Kwiatkowska - TEA Administration Manager Magda graduated in Tourism from the University of Poznan (Poland) and has been working at Mayflower College for seven years. She enjoys learning about British culture and loves the weather in Plymouth (not really!). She has recently returned from a sunny back- packing trip to Mexico and Guatemala.    
Jan Wells  -  Teacher Jan is a graduate of Bristol University and has been teaching E.S.O.L for the past 10 years. She has taught in both Australia and Brazil.  In addition to teaching, Jan also takes students for excursions every Saturday exploring the beautiful and historic areas surrounding Plymouth
Lucy Train - Student Services & Welfare (Accommodation for Juniors) Lucy graduated as a Primary School teacher from the College of St Mark and St John and taught in the West Midlands and Devon. After leaving teaching she went on to work for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) before joining the Language School industry in 2012. She is now the volunteer Secretary for the local RNLI fundraising team and also enjoys swimming and has a passion for nature.

Graham Goodspeed - Teacher Graham has an MA in Tourism from Exeter University. He has been teaching for over 25 years in Spain, Japan, Costa Rica and UK. His interests include rugby, cycling, world literature and rambling on Dartmoor.  
Liz Bell -  Teacher Liz is a graduate of the Open University with a degree in Social Sciences.  She has been teaching English since 2015 following a career in administration, mainly in Primary and Higher Education.  She has a passion for supporting people and has many years’ experience as a mentor of young people.  Liz enjoys yoga, meditation, needle crafts, personal development courses and being outdoors.
