From Heathrow Airport, London:
The easiest way is by direct National Express coach from the Airport to Plymouth. The journey
takes about 4 hours and the coaches leave the Airport at the following times every day:
08.50, 10.20, 11.50, 13.50, 16.55, 18.20, 21.45, 23.40h. The cost of a return ticket is about £35 if
you book at least 1 week in advance.
Megabus also operates a coach service from the centre of London (Victoria Station) to Plymouth -
there is a very cheap service (prices begin from £1.50 !).
By train you must first travel to Paddington station (by Heathrow Express) and then take the train
to Plymouth. Visit The Trainline to book your tickets.
From Gatwick Airport, London:
There are regular National Express coaches but it is necessary to change at Heathrow Airport.
On the train it is necessary to make one change at Reading (visit The Trainline to book your train
tickets)
