These courses are to prepare students linguistically for their studies at a British University or other institute of Higher Education.

ACADEMIC ENGLISH

The course includes: The production of clear and accurate written work Intensive reading practice both for gist and for specific information Fluency, accuracy and confidence in spoken English Listening to spoken and pre-recorded English both for specific and  general understanding Intensive grammar review An introduction to life and study in Britain Certificate and report

ENGLISH FOR PROFESSIONALS / EXECUTIVES  

These courses combine General English classes with individual (1:1) classes. These courses are tailor-made entirely to the needs and objectives of the student (following a detailed needs analysis) Each class is different, according to the needs of the student, but previous courses have included email and telephone roleplays as well as presentation skills and vocabulary and pronunciation work.

GENERAL ENGLISH

These courses concentrate on improving your confidence, fluency and accuracy in using all aspects of the language including: A comprehensive coverage of grammar Authentic listening and reading exercises Group communication exercises Expansion of vocabulary including phrasal verbs and idioms Pronunciation & intonation Each week in morning classes we focus on a new topic, with a number of goals for each lesson including vocabulary and grammar.  At the end of the week there is a test on these, which will help you and your teachers to see how much you have learned.
