A Lebanese teenager, 16-year-old Hassan Dawy, who
put his memory to the test by correctly identifying all
of the World’s national flags in under 4 minutes. His
successful record attempt came after approximately
1,000 practice attempts.

This week we have been watching the events unfold as the UK
welcomes King Charles III to the throne. Her Majesty Queen
Elizabeth II’s State Funeral takes place in Westminster Abbey on
Monday 19th September, 2022.
As usual, we have been looking through the British media this
week and here are some of the stranger stories we found:

David Beckham, who queued with thousands of
other members of the public for over 12 hours to
pay respect to the Queen who is lying in state in
Westminster Hall.
BAD WEEK FOR:
Visiting Dull and Boring places, as a woman
from Dull (in Scotland) happened to visit the
town of Boring (in Oregan, USA) whilst on
holiday. The two towns are now twinned and
both have seen an increase in visitors!
A teenager, who received one of the last letters ever
sent by Queen Elizabeth II. Barak Davison, aged 13,
wrote to the Queen in February to tell her about a
campaign he had started to educate others about
animals. The reply from the Queen was received
after her death and encouraged him to keep up the
good work!
