About Ourselves

Ross' class wrote about themselves. Let's see what they have to say! I think you will agree, they seem like a very nice and interesting class, from several different countries.

Thanks for writing, guys!

Alex

Hello, my name is Alexandrine. I’m 16 and I come from France. I’m studying at the Mayflower College in Plymouth for 3 weeks! I love dancing and practice horse riding. I like spending time with my friends and going to parties. I have no idea of what I want to be, maybe a journalist or something like that. I think I’m cheerful and caring but I’m not pessimistic. I adore listening to music, all the time! I don’t have a favorite singer or band, I prefer the present music. At the moment I’m listening Rihanna, The Wanted…At school I’m bad in scientific subjects. I’m interested in History, French, English and economy! I would like to improve my English. I’m proud of my country but after high school, I want to study in a different country like The United States! I hope that in 3 weeks I will get better at English!

Evgenia

I’m Evgenia and I’m 14 years old. I came from Russia to England to learn English and to have fun with foreign students. So I’m here, in mayflower and I’m studying here with my Russian friends, we’re lucky that our teacher is Ross, we all like him very much. I love reading and learning foreign languages, so I want to become either a writer or a linguist. I don’t want to have a boring job in an office. I think that I’m clever, at least I definitely know that I’m not stupid. I’m funny and polite. Also I’m laid-back and outgoing, so I hope that these qualities will help me in the future. I want to give you some advice if you’re a foreign student and if you travel a lot: just be polite to people, smile a lot and have as much fun as you can :)
